Partnerships
Responding to the needs of the community has always been a priority for CNC. We strive to develop and implement partnerships that support our mission and provide innovative and unique service delivery options.

  • Alliance for Kids — CNC is an active partner in a statewide initiative through the Colorado Department of Human Services and the Colorado Department of Education to develop innovative approaches for high quality full day full year programs for limited income families. This partnership allows CNC to be part of the School Readiness Initiative which includes participation in Qualistar (formerly Educare Star Rating).
  • Colorado Springs School District #11 — partners with CNC to provide Colorado Preschool Program (CPP) spaces in two classrooms to provide full day full year options for families with children at risk for school failure.
  • Court Care— provides free child care to children (6 weeks - 14 years old) whose parents, guardians or caregivers must conduct court-related business in the 4th Judicial District. For more info: Email courtcare@cscnc.org or call 719-442-1972.
  • Community Partnership for Child Development CPCD and CNC work together to ensure that Head Start eligible families have access to high quality early education and family support programs.
  • Harrison School District Two — District Two donates classroom space and custodial services in space dedicated to a Sand Creek Family Center operated by the City. CNC provides comprehensive services on a sliding fee scale at CNC at Sand Creek.
  • Home Network — established as a CNC program to offer an alternative to center based care in 2000, a collaborative effort with the Alliance For Kids, El Paso County Department of Human Services (DHS), Community Partnership for Child Development/Head Start (CPCD), and 20 Family Child Care Providers.   • Neighborhood Resources Division of the City of Colorado SpringsCNC at Meadows Park operates a comprehensive program serving infants through school age children. The City provides space, maintenance and support services at the Meadows Park Community Center.
  • Smart Start Colorado — Smart Start Colorado is a statewide alliance of early childhood partnerships working together to create a comprehensive system for children birth to eight and their families.
  • Volunteers of America — CNC partners with the Foster Grandparents Program to add an intergenerational component and provide links with senior volunteers to enhance our overall program quality.
